Arrangement Logic

Centering on Jiufen, this tour expands into three themes: the balanced main route (mountain/coast), history-focused route A, and relaxed nature-centric route B. Designed to suit different travel styles and group needs.

Jingtong Old Street

A nostalgic town at the end of the Pingxi railway line, featuring preserved Japanese wooden station buildings, old street vendors, and the famous bamboo wish tags tied near the railway.

Pingxi Sky Lantern Experience

A must-do in Taiwan! Write your wishes on paper lanterns and release them into the sky along the railway tracks — a magical and symbolic activity.

Shifen Waterfall

Known as the “Taiwan Niagara Falls,” this wide, horseshoe-shaped waterfall is one of the most impressive natural sights in northern Taiwan.

Gold Museum (Jinguashi)

A museum showcasing Taiwan’s gold mining history and Japanese-era mining village. Includes mining tunnels, gold bars to touch, and heritage buildings.

Jiufen Old Street at Sunset/Night

Wander through glowing lantern-lit alleys at night, enjoy sweeping sea views, and experience the charming mix of tea houses, snack shops, and nostalgic ambiance.

Jiufen Old Street

Taiwan’s iconic hillside town with narrow alleyways filled with taro balls, mochi, souvenir shops, and teahouses overlooking the sea — a must-visit destination.

Jishan Street in the Morning

The main street of Jiufen in the early morning is quiet and peaceful — perfect for enjoying the misty views and relaxed mountain-town atmosphere.

Bitou Cape Trail

A scenic cliffside trail offering panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean. The ridgeline walk features dramatic geological formations and open grassy paths.

Nanya Rock Formations

Famous for unique weathered sandstone formations created by sea erosion. Popular formations include “Sea Dog Rock” and ripple stones.

Shen’ao Fishing Harbor

A small local harbor known for fresh seafood markets and harbor-view cafés — perfect for a casual lunch stop near the coast.

Yin-Yang Sea & Shuinandong Smelter

Where golden mineral-rich waters mix with deep blue seawater, creating a unique “Yin-Yang” visual. Nearby lies the haunting remains of the Thirteen Levels smelter plant.

Golden Waterfall

A small waterfall with a gold-colored hue due to iron and copper deposits from the old mining days — an iconic sight of Jinguashi.

Keelung Islet Viewpoints

Great viewpoints like Wangyou Valley or Chaojing Park offer scenic views of Keelung Islet — a small volcanic island off the northeast coast.

Badouzi Chaojing Park

A seaside park featuring ocean cliffs, art installations, and viewing decks. Great for walking, photography, and sea breeze relaxation.

Zhengbin Fishing Port & Rainbow Houses

A former fishing harbor turned photo hotspot thanks to brightly colored waterfront buildings — perfect for Instagram shots and café breaks.

Keelung Miaokou Night Market

One of Taiwan’s most famous night markets for seafood — must-try items include tempura, butter crab, and rice noodle soup. Convenient and full of local flavor.

Thousand Island Lake (Shiding)

An overlook of emerald-green lakes formed by water channels from Feitsui Reservoir. The scattered islets resemble a miniature archipelago.

Bagua Tea Plantation & Pinglin Tea Museum

Terraced tea fields arranged in a fan shape on the hillsides. Pinglin Tea Museum nearby offers insight into Taiwan’s tea culture and brewing traditions.
