Itinerary

- Route -

Taipei → Yehliu Geopark → Yin Yang Sea → Golden Waterfall → Remains of the 13 Levels → Jinguashi Mountain Town → Return to Taipei

Yehliu Geopark

is one of the most iconic natural landscapes along Taiwan’s North Coast, famous for its unique rock formations such as the Queen’s Head and Candle Rock. These sea-eroded features attract nature lovers and photographers from around the world.

Yin Yang Sea

located near the Shui Nan Dong area, is known for its striking two-toned waters—yellowish and deep blue—caused by the mixing of mineral runoff and seawater. It’s one of the most unique coastal sights in Taiwan.

Golden Waterfall

features vibrant golden-colored streams formed by rainwater reacting with mineral-rich rocks. Its color and dramatic surroundings make it a popular photo spot.

The Remains of the 13 Levels

is a former ore processing plant built into the hillside. Now abandoned, the site is known for its massive, surreal ruins and is often called the “Sky Castle of Taiwan.”

Jinguashi Mountain Town

preserves many remnants of its mining heritage, including Japanese-era buildings and scenic alleys. Visitors can explore the mountain village at their own pace or visit the Gold Museum and Baoshishan Trail to learn more about the region’s golden past.
